Virginia Tech Hokies:

The Virginia Tech Hokies football has been on a roll. The fact they haven’t won a national championship in the sport is a constant source of bewilderment for the sports fraternity. The Hokies football program was incepted way back in the year 1892 and is now ranked among the most historic football programs in the country.

The Virginia Tech Hokies play their homes games at the intimidating "Lane Stadium." The venue is one of the most hostile places to visit for opposing teams and that has been the case for years. The roar of the sixty five thousand fans at a time is heard far and away and that is among the primary reasons why it captured the top spot when ESPN compiled their list of the "Top 20 Scariest Places to Play."

The Virginia Tech Hokies have gone on to lift seven conference and eight division titled along with going 10-14 in bowl games over the years. Not only that but they have also managed to win more games than any other football team in college sports history. The Hokies have made it to the post season at the end of every campaign from the year 1993 onwards.

The Hokies have been on a roll recently with a record of qualifying for playoffs for the best two decades shows. Their fans are out in full force once again to back their team every step of the way. The Hokies should win the National crown sooner rather than later. They have gone close multiple times and soon enough they will take the next step and bring the coveted championship home for their fans to enjoy.
